Rather than start a new port, I’’ll just add to this one. We have version 7.0.9 loaded, using Windows, and Kickr Bike v1. We’ll get 3-5 miles into a ride and then lose all resistance. Happened to both of us today, and has happened several times over the last few weeks.

So if it was marked as fixed, it may need to be revisited.

I’m using a Wahoo Kickr Move and Windows 11, and since i downloaded the updated app yesterday (7.0.7.0) ERG mode does not work in workouts, even though the bluetooth connection seems to be stable. I have tried to resolve over numerous times - Fulgaz has been my favourite indoor training app since i started using it 5 years ago, but i’m getting fed up at this stage with all of the issues since the launch of V7. Time is too precious to waste like this.

Some more info on the problem I’m having since the launch of V7: I’m using Macbook Pro with Sequoia OS 15.7.4 and a Wahoo KICKR V5. The firmware is up to date on the trainer. The problem is the resistance dropping out mid-ride, sometimes after 15 min, today after 2 min, last week after 2.50 min, but on one occasion since I updated Fulgaz, it didn’t happen at all. Each time it goes the same way: I see a small dialogue box at the bottom of the screen telling me the connection to the trainer has been lost. This is followed almost immediately by a second dialogue box saying the connection has been restored, but when the connection is ‘restored’, the resistance is gone completely. The blue-tooth indicator on the trainer remains stable (not blinking, which it does when it’s looking for a connection). I’ve also tried connecting to a PC with Windows 10, and it was worse. The film just froze after a few minutes.

Using kickr core on iOS. Firmware is fully up to date. Resistance works on Wahoo app, but cannot get any resistance on FulGaz since the update. Extremely disappointed to have an annual membership to FulGaz at the moment, as it has been completely unusable for a full month at this point.

I’m using a Wahoo Kickr trainer and Macbook pro, and since i downloaded the updated app yesterday (7.0.5) the resistance is dropping out after 15.00 min, even though the bluetooth connection seems to be stable. It happened on 3 consecutive attempts to ride a route on the app this morning. I tried relaunching the app and switching the trainer on and off, but it made no difference. Fulgaz has been my favourite indoor training app since i started using it 5 years ago, but i’m getting fed up at this stage with all of the issues since the launch of V7. Time is too precious to waste like this.

Wahoo Kickr resistance still not working in 7.0.5 on Windows

I reported this about a month ago, but the resistance is still not working correctly on version 7.0.5 under Windows. I can connect to the Kickr and my Speedplay Power Meter pedals, and the wattage appears to work correctly before starting the ride. However, as soon as I start a ride, I have difficulty getting the wattage above 60 Watts regardless of the gradient I am on. I also have a Rouvy subscription, which I have been forced to use, and all is well over there.

KICKR CORE Resistance/ERG Lock – Stuck in "Passive Mode" since v7.0.5

    Hi FulGaz Support Team,

I am reporting a persistent resistance control issue with my Wahoo KICKR CORE (ID 13F9) that started immediately after the recent v7.0.5 iOS update.

The Issue: My trainer is stuck in a 'Passive Mode' loop. This bug has made the trainer unusable not only in FulGaz but also in Zwift. In the Wahoo App, when I select 'Target Power,' it immediately reverts to 'Passive' within one second.

Impact on Zwift: Even with FulGaz uninstalled and the iPhone rebooted, Zwift can no longer control the trainer. In the Zwift pairing screen, the 'Controllable' wrench icon appears for a split second and then vanishes. I can see my power data, but there is zero resistance change during workouts or climbs.

    Technical Diagnostics Performed:

    • Hardware Check: The brake is functional (tested manually at 300W in Wahoo app).

    • Software Isolation: Uninstalled FulGaz, performed a network reset on my iPhone, and deleted/reinstalled Zwift. The 'Passive Mode' lock persists on the trainer's firmware level.

    • Protocols: Successfully performed a Factory Spindown, but the FTMS handshake seems corrupted.

It appears the v7.0.5 update has altered the trainer's internal logic/FTMS settings in a way that blocks external control from any app, including Zwift. Do you have a fix or a way to force-reset the trainer's Bluetooth control table?

    Thanks for your help!
