Windows 6.0.3.0 FulGaz Freezes at start of a SECTIONED ride

Got the new version of FulGaz on my Windows 11 system. Was able to create a section of a ride (“Annis Road”), but when trying to start it, the beginning of the video came up on the screen along with the HUD with everything zeroed out, but the ride never started. Clicking on anything on the screen did nothing, app completely frozen. Had to use Windows Task Manager to kill FulGaz. Tried twice, same result.
