Ride thumbnail alignment via Android Desktop Mode

I am using a pixel 9 phone and a connected external display using the android desktop mode (resolution 1920x1200)
In this mode everything works really well, except for the preview tiles.
They look "distorted", meaning that the font is so big you cannot read e.g. distance, time, etc., the route profile (like ascends, descends) is not shown and the preview picture itself seems "zoomed in"
I already tried to fix the problem with android settings (e.g. font scaling) but this had no effect on the tiles.
