Climb Profile not sync with ride mileage

I just finished the Col de Sarenne ride today (not the Col de Sarenne 2019 ride).

The ride ended with the distance to finished still reading 1.14 miles on the HUD, and my rider icon on the profile the same distance from the end of the ride. Total mileage from start to when the ride ended was 7.04 miles. Elevation gain was 2,602 ft., but ride description 3,097 ft.
