Slope limit not working

My wife has to be careful due to knee issues and has the slope limit set at 9%. On two rides the slope went up to 13% and she had to abandon the ride because her knees can’t take the pressure. She mirrors her iPad and has rebooted the device and logged in & out of FulGaz, but the slope limit still doesn’t work.
