Slope and resistance issues

I’ve not had the opportunity to do a few more rides using the new version, while trying to tweak some of the advanced settings to more closely match my configuration I had under the old version.

My riding setup: Trek bike on a Saris M2 wheel on trainer using IOS version 26.4.1.

Here is my current advanced trainer settings (below)…btw, these settings all worked perfectly for me under the older version.

FYI Because of the nature of my wheel on trainer I max out the slope at 3.5% and the scaling at approx 85% (anything higher makes climbs feel jerky and unnatural). So here is what I’ve noticed during my rides:

  • there is an occasional lag in the time I start to feel any resistance during a climb….and at times there is not a discernible resistance at all…..in-fact the resistance seems to be kinda hit and miss……weird?

  • Even though I max out the slope limit at 3.5%, when I am actually in the ride the slope does not stop at 3.5%…..weird?

  • I have played around with both simulation/trainer sources and don’t see any difference?

  • I have not done anything with power or speed…not sure if that would help? (So many variables it is hard to know which ones will make the difference in getting my back to where I was with all the pre 7.0 versions of Fulgaz.

Hopefully the patch at the end of the month will resolve this issue for me.

Thanks again for all your hard work and attention. Despite this hiccup Fulgaz continues to be the best riding platform out there (and I’ve dabbled with most of them).
