Ridden flag does not propagate to other logged-in devices

I use an Apple TV for my rides but I select the upcoming ride on an iPad and like to check whether I have ridden that particular ride in the past. A long while ago, the Ridden flag used to propagate to the iPad (and phone), then it did not for a long time. It came back not too long ago and is now not working again. It would be great to have it working again.
