Gears not being displayed

The gear being displayed is “0” and does not change when you flick through the gears. Resistance does change so gears are working just not being displayed. Using a watt bike atom. I have to turned app and watt bike on/off etc - tried two downloaded rides so far which walked fine with last version. Please could you suggest a solution
