Further problems with version 7.0.5.

Second ride on this version. Display during ride now shows speed 10 times the probable speed. i.e 30kph displays as 300kph. (same problem in imperial). the final .fit file does not have this error.

I compared two identical rides one on 6.0.5 and the other on 7.0.5. approximately 2 weeks apart.

Ride was Pont d’Arc 25.43 kms distance. On 6.0.5 time was 1:13:19, av speed 20.8kph, av power 120W. On 7.0.5 time was 57:51, av speed 26.4kph, av power 118W. The 6.0.5 data is close to my IRL time. (I know its slow but give me a break I’m 82).

The difference between the speed for the two versions is nearly 30% and my ‘performance’ has not improved that much in 2 weeks. I reviewed all of the settings but could not compare the current settings with the old settings because the old ones are of course not available as far as I can see. I can only assume you have changed the algorithm and this makes a nonsense for anyone trying to keep an eye on how they are doing over time.
