I note that I am not able to edit/modify the content of a post here - it fails to update the post, so any changes/additions to my posts I have to write a new post.
I found a few things with the new version to add to the earlier discovery of not being able to access workouts:
if I go to profile details, and try to access the ride history from there, nothing happens - clicking on the option does not take you to the ride history.
I checked the power reading on the screen against my garmin and they look consistent - that is nice to see
After I complete a ride and try to upload it, it tries to upload the ride to TrainingPeaks, but the upload fails (Fulgaz is connected to TP in my account)
The downhills seem WAY too fast. I had the slope setting on 100% for the downhills, and I was doing over 100km/hr (never seen that before) on a 7% gradient without pedalling. The drag and rolling resistance are all on the default settings. I have now set the downhill scaling to 50% to see if that is more realistic.
No more for now - I really like the update to the bluetooth connectivity, and the updated map info when you click on a ride, so Iβd really like all these other features to work so its connection to other riding tools is as it was in the previous version.
To be honest, releasing a version with features not functioning shows that the in-house testing was not as thorough as it should have been, and only serves to upset users.
My recommendation to anyone is to try this out new version out, BUT⦠do it in a different partition on your computer (or different computer) so at least you retain access to the previous version. Certainly that is what I plan to do with the next major release.
