August 2025

FulGaz Friday #24

Hey everyone,

Hope your week’s been a good one! It’s time for another FulGaz Friday and with the indoor season creeping closer, the wheels are definitely turning behind the scenes. Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been up to.

On the content side, we’re putting the final touches on the September ride drop. The Vineyards and Valleys mini tour is in full swing and available until the end of September. It features eight scenic rides and there’s still plenty of time to climb the leaderboard. Check it out here!

On the marketing front we’ll be kicking things off in mid September. Logistics for FulGaz kits are now finalised and August 31, 2025 is the final deadline to qualify for a free kit by submitting a video testimonial. Huge thanks to everyone who’s already sent one in, this is the last call! In September we’ll work with our distributor and shipping partner to launch the pre-order page. If you submitted a video testimonial you’ll receive a coupon code via email as our thank you for contributing.

On the product side, we’ve rolled out another round of backend updates to the FulGaz Members portal. They were mostly focused on admin and security improvements. One unintended side effect affected Strava activity uploads but that should now be resolved. In some cases you may need to reconnect manually. There was also a short glitch with new user registrations which was resolved within a few hours. If anything still seems off please let us know via feedback.fulgaz.com.

We’re continuing work on the indoor season app release and we’ve published a few minor fixes to our CDN, particularly around 4K video loading on the Members Portal. We’ve also seen a few reports of video freezing and we’re actively investigating that now. Expect more beta versions to roll out throughout September as we expand early testing. The Windows test build is still in beta and it’s already proven helpful as the extended use surfaced a bug we were able to catch before full release. Thanks again to everyone testing! If you’d like early access on any platform, drop us a note at support@fulgaz.com and we’ll add you to the list.

That’s it for this week, stay safe and keep going!

~Erik

P.S. Last edition’s cover was Temecula Wine Valley by Anita Martinez, a gentle climb followed with a fast descent to the finish line. Can you guess this week’s? It’s also from the Vineyards and Valleys mini tour!
