July 2025

Happy Friday,
How was your week? Time for a quick update from the world of FulGaz!
I’ll keep this one short again, not a big news week but still a few updates worth sharing. More on that at the end.
On the content side, it’s business as usual. Pete is doing his magic prepping the next ride drop and we’re also putting together a new mini tour.
We’re now about halfway through the limit on free FulGaz kits for video testimonials so there’s still time to send one in and secure yours. The ones already submitted are being processed for upcoming marketing campaigns and we’re getting everything setup to launch paid promotions come September. As I mentioned in the last quarterly special, the goal is to go on offensive and grow the FulGaz community ahead of the indoor season.
On the development side, we’ve finally made some progress on the Garmin front (yes, finally!). We’ve also fixed some minor bugs including one affecting the preview on Windows devices. These and a few more fixes are being prepped for a release around start of October. Team hiring is well underway and by September we should be at full strength, just in time for the indoor season. This time around, we’ll be investing more time into testing to make sure everything works as expected when you update to the newest version.
That’s it from me this week. Nothing fancy, but sometimes it’s just about grinding through the work. I’m also thinking about switching to biweekly or monthly updates, especially when there’s not much new compared to previous week to update you on. Let me know your thoughts in the comments?
Stay safe and keep riding.
~Erik
P.S. Last week’s cover was Col de Buret and Col des Ares by Larry McGeary, a fairly gentle intro to the Pyrenees. Can you guess this week’s? It’s from an upcoming stage of the French Tour!
