FulGaz Friday #14

Happy Friday,

How is everyone doing? Time for your weekly FulGaz update. To be honest, this one’s more of a touch base as there isn’t a huge amount of new info I can share with you this week. But I believe consistency is the key to many aspects of life and so this Friday’s no different.

Let’s start with content. The next ride collection drops Tuesday, June 3rd and we’ve got more than 500 kilometers of new roads across 19 rides. Safe to say the content grind behind the scenes is very real!

Same goes for product development. Right now, we’re prioritising some critical fixes under the hood. For the more technical folks here, we’re working on the FulGaz Members portal and upgrading some of the core runtime engines and libraries. We’re also investing time into better logging and observability overall. This is what helps us track bugs more efficiently and it’s something we do as standard at ROUVY.

Speaking of bugs, we’ve pushed a small fix for the Group Rides issue where buttons weren’t displaying on iOS and macOS. If you’re still having trouble, let us know!

Back when I shared the Q1, 2025 results, many of you were surprised more people aren’t using FulGaz. Agreed 100%. And in the February announcement I stated that this will remain a boutique, community-led platform. So if you want to help spread the word, we’d love to hear your experience. See an example video from Klem below on the type of content we’re looking for. We’ll be posting these on social media to highlight real stories from real riders.

It doesn’t need to be anything fancy. You can pick any option that fits you. Record a quick video message with your smartphone, send in a photo and a quote or just write a short testimonial. Email it to support@fulgaz.com or simply leave a comment on the post below.

That’s it for this week. Thanks again for your support, have a great weekend and as always, stay fit and keep riding.

~Erik

P.S. Oh and last week’s cover, @Andy Newman got it right! Winnats Pass (OC-33) was the venue of the 2021 National Hill Climb Championships and it was filmed by Jon Clifton for FulGaz. Beautiful hour long ride with a great climb. Can you guess this week’s cover? It’s from a Swiss collection from last year.
