Trainer Resistance not working on latest version

With my Saris H3 the power resistance is near nothing. On ovation I can get some resistance but nothing regular. I ave had a couple of rides where power was applied but it appeared to require going into advanced settings and back out, and then restarting rides until it finally started working. A 3.6% grade should not feel like I am going at -3.6%.

Have to say that with this and the cadence also being really wonky, I would rather go back to the prior version until it is figured out.
