Q2, 2026

Hello everyone,
It's been a while since my last post and a lot has happened in between. Let’s unpack it all.
We shipped the long promised V7. And yes, the launch was rougher than we wanted, I won't sugarcoat that. But by the time you're reading this we've pushed updated versions through the respective stores so latest versions are iOS 7.0.6, macOS 7.0.6, Android 7.0.6, Windows 7.0.7 and tvOS 6.0.5. These versions are stable and address the issues you've reported over the past couple of weeks, specifically:
Login and password flow,
Ride history and ridden/not ridden functionality,
Missing downloaded videos,
Strava activity sync,
Workout import and ERG mode,
Section trimming and skip interval features,
Delay and rolling resistance sensor issues,
Elevation gain added to the HUD,
Invalid post activity error message removed.
From the outside, it might not look like much changed in the app so let me explain why the launch hit the way it did. As I mentioned in previous updates, we essentially rebuilt the app from the ground up and also what lives locally on your device vs. what's managed server side. That last part also gives us the far greater ability to fix certain things remotely without needing to build and distribute a new app version.
We ran extensive internal and external testing from February onwards and shipped the fifth release candidate as a public beta based on strong external tester feedback. Even so, some issues only surfaced with wider usage. That's the honest reality of indoor cycling software, the sheer variety of hardware combinations people train with makes comprehensive testing genuinely hard.
Here's the plan going forward. We'll keep the app at latest versions, fix what comes in remotely over the next few months and if feedback warrants a new release, we'll plan it in. So besides the same old feedback submissions via feedback.fulgaz.com we need to expand the external tester pool, there's clearly no shortcut. If you're up for it, reach out to support@fulgaz.com and help us make the next launch much smoother.
I know this is big news so let me address it directly. Yes, Zwift has acquired ROUVY and FulGaz comes with it. Given the bumpy start when ROUVY first acquired FulGaz, I understand why that raises questions. But the honest answer is nothing changes from what I've been saying since last February. As long as FulGaz is economically viable, it will keep running as an independent platform. And FulGaz is in the black!
As you recall from my January post, we tried scaling the business with a marketing push in Q4 2025. The learning was clear and we recognized that's not the right path. So we shifted focus back to what actually matters which is a stable, reliable app for the existing community. And even though the V7 launch didn't go as smooth as we wanted, the last 5 months represent a significant team effort, often working late into the night and over weekends. We wouldn't be doing that if we had different plans for FulGaz.
Worth noting that as part of the acquisition, Zwift hardware now works with ROUVY. FulGaz is a separate platform, so that doesn't automatically extend to us but it's worth us understanding whether that matters to you. If Zwift hardware compatibility on FulGaz is something you'd want, go ahead and upvote the post below so we can gauge demand and plan next steps:
While the app rebuild consumed most of our team's bandwidth, this is the one area that kept running without missing a beat. Fresh content dropped on schedule, mini tours continued to land well and the community stayed active and engaged. That doesn't happen by itself.
So a genuine thank you to our ride and content contributors who kept the library growing and to everyone in the community who shows up, shares feedback and keeps the conversation going over at the FulGaz Facebook Group. This is what FulGaz actually runs on, a community-led platform.
And that's it for this quarter. I'll be back over summer with the next one. In the meantime keep the feedback coming, stay safe and keep riding.
