FulGaz Friday #9

Hey everyone,

How’s it going? Here's a quick recap of the past week.

We’ve been busy rolling out a bunch of new FulGaz versions lately. I know, it’s been a lot, so thanks to everyone who’s already updated. While frequent updates might not seem ideal, I hope it shows our commitment to stability and reliability over flashy features.

That, and of course, maintaining the best-in-class rides quality. Speaking of which, Pete is working his magic behind the scenes and the next rides drop is just around the corner. Look out for updates in one of Klem’s weekly FulGazette emails!

Things are going well in our support inbox and we’re able to respond in a timely manner. Any issues that come in are being picked up and fixed right away which also explains the more frequent releases recently. I strongly recommend making sure you’re on the latest version (I’m attaching a screenshot below on where to check). Current versions are:

  • macOS (Macs): 5.3.11

  • Windows (PCs or Laptops): 5.3.11

  • Android (Phones and Tablets): 5.3.3

  • iOS (iPhones and iPads): 5.3.3

  • tvOS (Apple TVs): 5.3.9

The more people are running the latest version, the better stability we can ensure for everyone. And just a heads-up, we’ll be introducing a mandatory update requirement over the next few weeks so we’d like to gather as much usage data and logs as possible before that happens.

Meanwhile, we’ve continued preparations for our marketing efforts for the upcoming indoor cycling season and improving our emailing systems. One big change already in place is that FulGaz Fridays are now being emailed to the entire subscriber base, not just FulGaz Riders members on Facebook. That’s a big shift to keep everyone in the loop.

So if you’re receiving this for the first time via email, I strongly encourage you to catch up by browsing through the past eight updates, especially the Q1 Quarterly Special available here. It follows up on the announcement we made at the end of February confirming that FulGaz will continue as a standalone app for as long as the community keeps using it. Long story short, we’re off to a great start!

And that’s it for this week. Thanks again for your support, have a great weekend and, as always, stay fit and keep riding!

~Erik

P.S. Can you guess the ride in this week’s cover image? Hint, it’s a downhill ride and it’s perfect for spinning out the legs after a tough strength workout. Kudos to @Enzo who had it right the last time, Jumeirah Beach by Nazir Alzaabi is an is an early evening ride in Dubai with beautiful cityscape views.
